Best Student's Awards using Fuzzy Expert System
Abstract
The selection of the best student is issue that relate of human judgmental component. . Commonly, many institutes just rely based on the feedback provided by the teachers which may depend upon imprecise, incomplete and uncertain information. This project is implemented Fuzzy Expert System (FES) in selection of the best student. FES is implemented in this project because it can model ambiguous information, uncertainty and imprecision. The aim in this project is to select the best student without use a traditional way. The traditional way consume time and cost. The FES algorithm will process three attribute of the student which is academic, disciplinary and soft skill. The output will be produced whether the student is the best student or not. The project was developed based on proposed methodology approach. The output will be a compare of results between the existing traditional method and the expert. Hopefully, this project could proceed by adding more attribute and function in the field of FES.
