THE REVIEW OF THE MATHEMATICS OF ORIGAMI: A FLAT-FOLDABLE CAMPING POT
Abstract
Origami, an ancient Japanese art, when combined with mathematics can help produce solutions for array of problems. Its foldability and reconfiguration of shapes based on its crease pattern and folding sequences will alter the properties and behaviours of the targeted shape allowing it to be fold completely flat. This research aims to understand the mathematical elements that exist in origami to be able to extract the elements and implement it in devising a newer and advanced camping pot with enhanced functionality.
