Vacation Place Recommendation using Fuzzy Analytic Hierarchy Process
Abstract
Choosing vacation place is a important decision for tourist when planning holiday. More important is a how tourist make decision in choosing their vacation based on their preferences. Beside that, tourist usually need to view all the available place for their target vacation place. Thus, this project is proposed which is Vacation Place Recommendation using Fuzzy Analytic Hierarchy Process to guide tourist in choosing vacation. FAHP is a method widely used decision making tool in various multi criteria decision making problems. It takes the pair-wise comparisons of different alternatives with respective to various criteria and provides a decision support tool for multi criteria decision problems. FAHP consists three component which is goal, criteria, alternative. Goal is a suggested vacation place, criteria is conduct by survey and the result is cost, leisure and recreation, accommodation, attraction and accessibility. Alternative contain 5 vacation place for each state in Malaysia based on popularity and latest popular place. This project aim is to help tourist in finding suitable place for their vacation based on tourist preferences. Finding of this project is portrayed as conceptual framework that consists the structure of web based vacation place recommendation using FAHP algorithm. The evaluation of this project conduct by functionality test. The functionality result obtain by conduct survey ask for how each part of web properly function.
