Pengurusan Jenazah Courseware
Abstract
Most learning materials for
learning Islamic funeral management are based on passive learning techniques where
learners are required to view content without engaging any active interaction
between them. Other than that, lack of attraction for the students to learn, and
also the level of students' understanding of the topic of Islamic funeral
management is quite low. Pengurusan Jenazah Courseware can be used as an
interactive and interesting learning tool for each student. This will be very
helpful in improving the implementation of funeral management not only to
answer exam questions but also for future use. The objectives of Pengurusan
Jenazah Courseware are to develop and evaluate computer-assisted teaching and
learning courseware CD-ROM based on the tutorial approach. This courseware is
provided based on the course syllabus of standard 5 “Ibadat” subject at Sekolah
Agama Seri Pantai Mersing Johor. Managing an Islamic funeral is the work of a Muslim against
another Muslim who passed away including bathing, reciting, praying and burial
where the law was “fardu kifayah”. The courseware is developed based on the
ADDIE instructional design model has five phases, namely analysis phase,
design phase, development phase, implementation phase, and evaluation phase. The theory that been used to complete this courseware is Cognitive Learning Theory.
This courseware has also adopted the concept of teaching and learning. The combination
of various media in the courseware such as texts, graphics, animations, and
audio makes teaching and learning more interesting, active, and fun. This study
can help teachers in order to attract students’ attention and as an additional
teaching material.
